Job summary

Tegra Medical LLC, based in Franklin, MA, is seeking a First Shift Laser Operator. You will run CNC laser processing machines, ensure tight tolerances, and follow standard procedures in a high-precision manufacturing setting.

This role emphasizes quality, teamwork, and adherence to safety in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in small device manufacturing, familiarity with Lasag/Coherent/IPG lasers, and strong measurement skills.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a small device manufacturing environment as a CNC Machining Operator is preferred.
• Experience operating Lasag, Kohler, Coherent/Rofin or IPG Lasers is helpful.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and meet deadlines.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use measurement and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser processing machines and achieve specs for quality and throughput.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform ERP transactions.
• Perform daily maintenance and load control media for machine instructions.
• Inspect parts during laser process and use precision measuring tools.
• Communicate with teammates and supervisor to coordinate job status.
• Support 1st piece and in-process inspections for self and peers.
• Assist with secondary operations such as cleaning parts and work areas.
