Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assemble printed materials and promotional items into kits per work orders and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure kit contents meet requirements.
  • Count, sort, and organize materials for kitting projects.
  • Package completed kits with appropriate materials (boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, etc.).
  • Apply labels, stickers, and shipping information accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Track inventory of kitting supplies and materials.
  • Report any quality issues to supervisor.
  • Assist with bulk mailings and special packaging projects as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor(s).

Summary

The Handwork Assistant is responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing print materials and promotional items into complete kits according to client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Shift

6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; M - F

Core Responsibilities
  • Assemble various printed materials and promotional items into kits following detailed work orders and specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure kit contents match requirements and meet quality standards.
  • Count, sort, and organize printed materials and components for kitting projects.
  • Package completed kits using appropriate materials (boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, etc.).
  • Apply labels, stickers, and shipping information accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Track inventory of kitting supplies and materials.
  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisor.

Education & Certification/Licensing Requirements
