Penske Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Worker / Auditor at our Houston, TX location to support daily warehouse operations with a focus on inventory accuracy and compliance. The role involves physical duties, cycle counts, and maintaining precise records in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and comfortable operating standard warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic data-entry and computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand inventory labels and packing slips.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and organize incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
• Compare physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify quantities and shipping documents.
• Identify damaged, missing, or misrecorded items.
• Maintain accurate inventory and audit records.
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and other duties.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Report issues to management.
