Job summary

Ascensia Diabetes Care seeks a 1st shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Portsmouth, NH facility. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain critical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work in CMMS.

A strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement is required. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in an industrial environment or related trade, plus hands-on experience with motors, drives, PLCs, and various tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with hands-on maintenance experience.
• 1+ year in industrial environment or trade experience in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or controls.
• Experience with CMMS and safety procedures is essential.
• Ability to troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems such as motors, drives, sensors, valves and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro‑mechanical equipment including motors, drives and PLCs.
• Document work in CMMS and order parts as needed.
• Support safety, reliability, and plant initiatives and respond to maintenance calls.
