Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Hem Saw Operator for the First shift. The role involves setting up and operating a metal cutting saw, loading raw material safely, and inspecting cut pieces to meet specifications.

You will document measurements and maintain quality and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with metal cutting saws, basic math skills, and a quality-focused, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of metal cutting saw experience.
• Ability to perform precise measurements with a tape measure.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• 1+ year manufacturing experience a plus.
• 1+ year painting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and inspect equipment, install blades, measuring lengths to spec, and operate the saw.
• Load raw material into the saw safely to complete the sawing process.
• Unload finished material and inspect features using measuring devices and record results.
• Run a metal cutting saw and keep it clean.
• Maintain a safe work environment and quality standards.
