Job summary

Facebook is seeking a Forklift Operator for first shift in Covington, KY. You will operate and care for the forklift, ensure correct stock is delivered to machines, and maintain safe, organized staging areas. The role requires a current Lift Truck license and preferred corrugated industry experience.

The position involves standing and lifting up to 100 pounds, with OT on Saturdays as needed, and a focus on safety and accuracy in paperwork and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to operate forklift safely.
• Complete forklift inspection form before start of shift.
• Current Lift Truck/Clamp Truck Operator License is required.
• Possibility of receiving an inhouse certification after passing Lift Operator Exam.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklift in a safe manner.
• Locate stock before the start of the run.
• Deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Remove finished goods from machines.
• Maintain neat, orderly stacks of stock in storage areas.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate location of stock in storage area.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Adhere to daily production schedule.
• Assist other forklift operators as needed and backup to Shipping Lead Person.
• Complete reports on Production Data and Safety Data.
