Job summary

The Baillie Group member AHI is seeking a Forklift Operator in Waynesboro, VA for a first shift position. The role involves operating a forklift in a warehouse to locate, organize and move material, and performing related production tasks.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be willing to work overtime. Safety adherence and precision in stacking and sorting are essential requirements for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred.
• High School degree preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with attention to safety.
• Capable of precise, efficient material handling.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in a large warehouse to locate, organize and move material.
• Pull boards into correct carts according to sort numbers.
• Identify sort numbers for carts and ensure proper placement.
• Assist in all areas of production and maintain safety guidelines.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental policies.
