Valley Steel Stamp Inc. is seeking a First Shift Finishing Operator to prepare conforming parts for shipment by performing finishing, inspection, marking, cleaning, and packaging.

The role supports the final stages of production, follows production schedules and work instructions, and requires maintaining quality and proper handling throughout the finishing process. Candidates should be detail‑oriented, able to read blueprints or travelers, work as a team on a fast‑paced line, and commit to 6S

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in finishing processes.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform visual inspection of parts, including inspection under a microscope when required.
• Perform finishing operations such as deburring, sandblasting, washing, passivation, laser marking, polishing, and packaging.
• Read and follow production schedules, job travelers, work orders, customer requirements, and applicable work instructions.
• Handle, stage, and package parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Notify Finishing Supervisor of quality concerns or issues.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, organized condition per 6S.
• Follow company policies, PPE, and procedures for finishing operations.
• Support team production goals by moving between tasks as trained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
