Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Manager for the 1st Shift at our Arvin, CA facility. You will lead a team of 20–30 hourly staff across receipt, processing, storage, order filling and shipment of parts, ensuring safe, efficient operations that meet Caterpillar standards.

You will drive improvements, coach staff, manage payroll and attendance, and participate in leadership on-call rotations. This role requires hands-on leadership on the floor and strong distribution knowledge.

• Lead and motivate distribution center teams through coaching and training.
• Drive operational excellence by resolving issues and improving processes.
• Ensure safety and compliance through daily briefings and proper equipment use.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment operations.
• Manage payroll, attendance and other administrative workflows to control costs.
• Participate in leadership on-call rotations to support after-hours operations.
• Maintain awareness of facility operations and communications for timely action items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
