Job summary

ADP in Itasca, IL is seeking a Press Operator to produce printed objects using assigned printing machinery. The role includes staging flexo presses with materials and tooling for efficient workflow, running presses, and assisting with quality control in the pressroom.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, experience with Mark Andy Printing equipment, and experience in narrow web printing. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of printing machines.
• Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.

• Aligns and configures machinery.
• Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
• Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on printing machines.
• Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
• Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Press Operator will produce printed objects and materials using assigned printing machinery. Responsible for having Flexo Presses staged with materials and tooling for efficient workflow. Run press and complete jobs in an efficient manner. Assisting with Quality Control in the pressroom. Performing any other additional activities as directed by your supervisor (which may include running a machine, and/or assisting in maintenance needs).

Education and Experience:

• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to operate printing machines.
