Job summary

B&A Precision in Milford, CT is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Set Up Technician to set up and operate 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes, read blueprints, and verify dimensions with precision gauges. You will report to the shop President and contribute to meeting exacting Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industry standards.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with Fanuc controls, solid G-code knowledge, GD&T, and a meticulous eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe experience.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and G-code.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T to ensure part accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Read blueprints, verify dimensions with gauges, and document results.
• Maintain quality standards and support teamwork in a fast-paced shop.
