Job summary

Emerge is seeking a reliable Cleaner/Janitor to join the Maintenance team on 1st shift. The role focuses on keeping the facility clean, safe, and presentable for employees and visitors. Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attendance, with prior cleaning experience preferred.

Shifts run 5:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday with overtime on Friday; half-day available. Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional cleaning experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and training provided
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience with custodial, janitor, cleaner, or floor tech roles is a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain a safe facility
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and wipe surfaces
• Remove trash and debris regularly
• Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies
• Coordinate with other departments to meet cleaning needs
