You will work under direct supervision with blasting media such as aluminum oxide, glass bead, and plastic media, ensuring parts are cleaned, damage-free, and configured correctly. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork in a busy fabrication shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years shop experience.
• Experience with blasting processes.
• Ability to lift 5–75 lbs.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform enclosed blasting with various media to clean and prepare surfaces.
• Inspect surfaces for contaminants after blasting.
• Verify parts are damage-free and properly oriented.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Collaborate with shop personnel to support production.
