Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior processing or chemical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Frequent standing and manual handling; able to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read formula cards, print formulas, and create formulas.
• Follow GMPs and inspect cream tank trucks, liquid corn, and high fructose trucks on arrival.
• Understand how to mix batches properly.
• Verify raw materials and check lot numbers for formulas.
• Reconfigure piping structures as needed for pumping operations.
• Perform CIP and verify cleaning chemicals.
• Open valves and release a batch to the line.
• Check temperature chart for start, pump over, and stop times.
• Recognize hot water use differences for batch vs. piping.
• Work in non-climate controlled areas (hot and cold).
