First Shift Assistant Machine Operators
Automation Personnel Services is seeking First Shift Assistant Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Ball Ground, Georgia . This position includes assisting with machine operations, inspecting and packaging products, and helping maintain consistent production workflo ws . Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

First Shift Assistant Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure all products meet established quality standards.

• Accurately complete all quality checks, labeling, and documentation in a timely manner.

• Monitor and organize packaging materials, ensuring stock is maintained at optimal levels.

• Properly store finished products to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

• Assist with die changeovers and perform on-line die cleaning as needed.

• Submit maintenance work orders for equipment repairs or issues.

• Keep the work area clean and safe by following housekeeping and safety procedures.

• Additional job duties as assigned by management

First Shift Assistant Machine Operators Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1-2 years of m aterial h andling , machine operating , extrusion technician, or similar experience is required .

• Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.

• Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.

• Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Drug screening and background check are required

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
