Job summary

PEI Genesis in South Bend, IN is seeking a 1st Shift General Production Assembler to join a clean, climate-controlled facility. Monday–Friday 7:00–3:30pm, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will assemble connectors per work orders, read specs, complete production documentation, and maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting delivery deadlines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong manual dexterity, teamwork, and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with measurement tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble connectors per work orders and instructions.
• Read and follow work orders, specs, and special instructions.
• Complete production documentation to standards (ISO9001/AS9100).
• Operate equipment; basic computer skills may be needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and meet delivery dates.
• Review non-conforming material per defined guidelines.
• Use gauges, micrometers, or calipers for measurements.
• Pull supplies from KanBan shelves.
