Job summary

Haworth, Inc. in Conover, NC is seeking an Assembler for the 1st shift to assemble final products for customer shipment using a variety of hand and power tools. You will follow daily schedules and review pick lists to ensure parts match tickets.

The role requires basic manufacturing experience, ability to read blueprints, perform quality inspections, and enter data into the electronic production system. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience helpful.
• Ability to read and follow basic blueprints.
• Eye protection and hearing protection may be required; PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Accesses electronic production systems to determine daily schedule.
• Accesses pick lists, picks all needed components; verifies parts received match tickets.
• Inspects incoming components, parts and/or previous station's assembly work, and completed product for proper fit and function.
• May sub-assemble components using hand and power tools for final assembly or customer packet.
• Performs final visual and quality inspection of product/parts.
• Enters order data into electronic production system, creates labels, and stages product for next operation.
• Rotates through department work centers based on business need.
