Job summary

Foresight in New York, NY seeks a senior designer to be the first dedicated designer shaping how teams build critical infrastructure with AI. Since 2018, Foresight has paired platform with delivery expertise and now seeks to redefine product design, data sources, UI, and agents for owners, GCs and suppliers.

You will own research, interaction design, visual design and the design system for 6-12 months, with room to grow into leading the function as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Have 6+ years designing and shipping software, including complex B2B, data-heavy or enterprise products.
• Excellent at discovery; you can surface the real problem under the stated one and change product thinking accordingly.
• Prototype in code as a practice; build working things customers can test without waiting on engineering.
• You've designed for AI or automation and have opinions on trust, explainability and when software should act.
• Turn dense information into intuitive interfaces that support multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with owners, project controls leads, GC planners and site teams to frame problems.
• Prototype in code and test with real project data and customers in days.
• Define the human–agent loop and decide when AI should flag or act autonomously.
• Design for multiple parties: owners, GCs, trades, suppliers and investors.
• Own end-to-end product areas from initial conversations to production and post-launch iteration.
• Build a scalable design language, system and principles for future growth.
