Job summary

Digitailor seeks the first product designer to shape AI-powered claims operations software for seed-stage insurance tech. You will own the user experience from discovery to delivery, partnering with product and engineering to translate complex workflows into clear, dependable tools for claims teams.

You will establish design principles, prototype with AI tools, and measure reductions in user effort as we scale from discovery to an enterprise-ready product.

Qualifications

5–8 years of product design experience in technology companies.
Experience as founding designer or first design hire at an early-stage startup.
Portfolio showing UX-led work on complex software and operational workflows.
Experience using user research, behavioral analytics, or heat maps to guide design decisions.
Hands-on experience prototyping with AI coding or design tools.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end experience across claims workspaces and executive dashboards.
Research user needs through discovery calls, observation, and data analysis.
Partner with product and engineering to translate problems into workflows and implementations.
Design AI-assisted interactions that clarify actions, sources, confidence, and review prompts.
Guide the product from early interface to enterprise-ready experience; establish design system and prototypes.
