PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is seeking a First Officer to support inflight operations and ensure safe, on-time arrivals across the network.

The role requires ATP or restricted ATP qualifications, instrument rating and commercial multi-engine license, and the ability to obtain necessary medical and security clearances. Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Authorization to work in the United States required.
• Instrument rating and a commercial license with multi-engine.
• Must obtain a First Class Medical.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit required.

Responsabilités

• Call the Captain's attention to any deviation from regulations, company policy or safe operating practices.
• Comply with company and FAA procedures, directives and regulations affecting the proposed flight.
• Perform the duties of Second-in-Command (SIC) in accordance with the company Standardization Program.
• Aid the Captain in preflight preparation as appropriate.
• Perform a visual preflight (walk-around) inspection before each flight and a visual post-flight inspection after each flight.
• Assume, secondarily, all responsibilities of the Captain and, should the Captain become incapacitated, full responsibility of the Captain.
• Perform such other duties as directed by the Captain.
• Take action as deemed necessary to resolve any problem or situation that may compromise safety or compliance.
• Direct the flight crew in a safe and efficient manner to meet the operational requirements of the company.
