Job summary

SingleLiving in Anchorage, AK seeks an experienced pilot to join our flight operations. You will fly as crew under the Chief Pilot, leveraging strong CRM and safety skills.

Candidates must hold ATP or be ATP-in-training with a medical certificate, pass DOT background checks and drug screens, and have multi-engine experience, including Saab 2000 familiarity. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate preferred; ATP minimums required.
• 1st class medical.
• Able to pass full DOT background checks and initial and random drug screens.
• Multi engine experience.
• Physical ability to perform all job duties.
• Prior 121 SIC Experience in Saab 2000 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, applicable FAA regulations and company manuals.
• Plan flights in accordance with weather information, policies and regulations.
• Perform duties the captain may assign in flight.
• Delegate functions to other crewmembers only when command is assumed due to incapacitation of the PIC.
• Possess required certificates and documents for flight performance.
• Apply CRM concept of “Assertiveness with Respect.”
• Continue professional training toward upgrading performance and abilities.
• Observe company conduct rules as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.

Reports to Chief Pilot

Duties and Responsibilities

These shall include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for having a thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, Federal Aviation Regulations governing the operation of this equipment as well as the Company’s manuals, policies and other instructions.
• Responsible to the captain for the proper planning of the flight in accordance with all applicable weather information and reports, applicable Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Performing all duties the captain may assign in flight.
• Delegating functions to other crewmembers only when command of the aircraft is assumed due to incapacitation of the PIC.
• Possessing required certificates and documents appropriate for flight performance.
• Employing CRM concept of “Assertiveness with Respect”.
• Continuing the professional training toward upgrading their performance and abilities.
• Observing the Rules of Conduct for all employees as outlined in the Sterling Airways Team Member Handbook.
