Southwest Airlines Co. invites current U.S. military pilots to join the Military Aviator Program, targeting availability between 1 April 2027 and 30 September 2028. As a First Officer, you will operate Boeing 737 aircraft with emphasis on safety, service, and flexible scheduling within Flight Operations.

MAP participants receive mentorship and ongoing guidance; selection does not guarantee employment. Final onboarding, eligibility, and regulatory requirements must be met prior to any offer.

Formación

• Must be a current U.S. military pilot.
• Must have six months + remaining until availability date.
• Meets Southwest pilot hiring flight experience requirements.
• Must hold a current military medical recommendation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly service to customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Work cooperatively to ensure company success.
• Coordinate with Captain, flight attendants, dispatcher and ground personnel.
• Comply with regulations and directives for safe flight operations.
• Operate within approved manuals and regulatory frameworks.
