Job summary

USA Jet Airlines invites applications for a First Officer position, reporting to the Chief Pilot and providing administrative leadership in training for upgrade to Captain. You will work under the PIC, uphold flight and duty time limits, and ensure compliance with company procedures across all flight phases.

Qualifications

• Hold the appropriate licences and certificates for the position.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Maintain knowledge of the General Operations Manual, FARs, OpSpecs, Aircraft Flight Manual and related instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the USA Jet General Operations Manual, the FARs, OpSpecs, Aircraft Flight Manual and other instructions relevant to the role.
• Ensure flight and duty time limitations are met and that you are rested and properly uniformed.
• Keep the Pilot in Command informed in accordance with SOPs throughout all flight phases.
• Perform Second-in-Command duties including filing, opening/closing flight plans and pre/post-flight inspections.
• Ensure required documents, navigational aids, manuals and equipment are on board.
• Assist with loading and securing cargo and passengers as applicable.
• Brief couriers and jump seat riders; perform ATC communications as needed.
