The Norman - Universal Banker (UB) plays a vital role in our bank’s commitment to provide exceptional customer service by being kind, genuine, and bending over backwards to serve the relationships we establish. The Norman UB must provide a superior level of service while handling teller transactions, opening, closing and performing maintenance on deposit accounts and services – and managing all documentation related to the account or service. They are trusted with creating a positive experience in our lobby by meeting and greeting each client. They are relied upon to resolve customer service needs effectively while delivering friendly customer service and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Norman UB will participate in banking promotions, events, and community outreach. They must have detailed knowledge of all policies and procedures in relation to their role within the company. They will continue to develop and improve their skills through regular feedback and discussions with their manager. This position reports to the Norman Branch Manager.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties
  • Efficiently process teller transactions including those received by courier, mail and night depository.
  • Open, close and perform maintenance on deposit accounts.
  • Grow accounts through cross-selling, networking and other outside sales activities.
  • Scan documents for new accounts and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Comply with FLB’s established procedures and policies; complete all required training.
  • Resolve customer service issues in person, via email or by phone.
  • Knowledgeable on all deposit products and services including promotional products.
  • Contribute to branch and bank goals by promoting the bank's products and services.
  • Provide support to other departments through various duties as assigned.
  • As assigned perform other responsibilities – including providing support to other departments.

Required Qualifications
  • Previous banking experience.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Sitting or standing for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Professional office environment. Frequent lifting of coin boxes and occasional lifting of storage boxes.
