Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possession of valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Minimum of 1–3 years of successful teaching experience (may include Student Teaching Internship).
• Understanding of learning theory, motivation, reinforcement, evaluation and feedback techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned with established guidelines and school philosophy.
• Use varied teaching strategies and real-world examples to maximize learning.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
• Assess student strengths/weaknesses regularly and adapt activities accordingly.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Collaborate with staff on curriculum planning and IEP requirements.
