About the OpportunitySt. Michael Catholic School is seeking a compassionate and reliable First Grade Educational Assistant to support classroom instruction and student learning in our first grade classrooms. What You’ll Do

• Work alongside first grade teachers to support instruction in literacy, math, and other subject areas
• Provide small group or one-on-one support for students who need additional help
• Follow individual learning plans and support students with special needs
• Participate in supervision duties (e.g. car line, lunchroom, recess)
• Foster a culture of respect, kindness, and enthusiasm for learning
• Model Christian values and support the faith life of the school
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations with teachers

Schedule

• Part-time (.6 FTE) during school-day hours, approximately 20 hours per week
• In-person, school-year position
