Job summary

Overflow is looking for its first dedicated Data Engineer in the United States to develop its data and analytics ecosystem. You will architect the core data infrastructure and ensure reliable access to metrics across teams.

Requirements include over 5 years of data engineering experience and strong knowledge of AWS data services. The role operates within a flexible work model with some in-person team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience at a fast-growing tech, fintech, or SaaS company.
• Proven ability to design efficient OLAP schemas for complex financial transactions.
• Strong proficiency with AWS data services and reliability in Change Data Capture pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build Overflow's core data infrastructure including pipelines and warehouses.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for reliable data delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
