Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on previous experience and education.

Job Description
  • Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting special dietary instructions as required.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Provide guidance to lower-level cooks as assigned.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain the assigned station and overall kitchen, practicing good safety and sanitation.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Qualifications
  • Culinary degree and 2 years of cooking experience OR 5 years of related cooking experience.
  • Experience and proficiency in both à la carte and production cooking.
  • Valid food handler certificate.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
