The Tulsa City-County Library is looking for an HVAC Technician with a First-Class Stationary License required and an unlimited Mechanical Journeyman licensed preferred. The Mechanical Journeyman/First Class Stationary Engineer (HVAC Technician) operates and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for the Central Library. This position performs general labor as well as landscaping, irrigation, janitorial services, cosmetic maintenance, and vehicle fleet maintenance as requested. This is a safety sensitive position.
Salary: $25.00/hour - $43.00/hour commensurate with experience
Status: Full Time
Location: Central Library, 400 Civic Center, Tulsa, OK 74103
Required Work Schedule: Saturday 8 am - 6 pm, Sunday 8 am - 6 pm
Flexible Work Schedule: 16 hours Monday through Friday

Some Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Physical Activity & Environmental Conditions Work involves considerable physical exertion, such as regularly lifting of heavy items (up to 80 pounds) such as carts or crates full of books, on a highly frequent basis and/or assuming awkward positions. There are routine discomforts from exposure to moderate heat, cold, moisture/wetness and unpleasant air conditions. The job may involve routine exposure to soiled materials and light chemical substances such as cleaning solutions. Routine, in-town travel using Library-owned vehicles is required.
