Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal course of instruction for the STFA approved by the Association of Surgical Technologists.
• CST Certified and CPR/BLS Certified.
• More than 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in moving and positioning patients for surgery.
• Retract tissue and expose the operating field area during procedures.
• Clamp and tie vessels to control bleeding.
• Keep the operative site dry.
• Assist in the closure of the incision.
