Job summary

TheraEx Staffing Services in Duluth, GA is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in General Surgery for a locum tenens assignment. This role is strictly OR-based with no outpatient clinic duties, no on-call requirements, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential later end times.

The PA will serve as first assist across general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, and urology cases, supporting robotics when needed, with a target 90-110 non-urgent cases weekly and 10-30 cases daily

Responsibilities

• Serve as first assist in the operating room for General Surgery (highest priority)
• Assist in Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology and Robotic-assisted procedures
• Participate in 90-110 scheduled non-urgent surgical cases per week across both facilities
• Support a daily OR census of 10-30 cases
• Provide high-quality intraoperative care with emphasis on safety, precision, and workflow
