You will analyze data, communicate the weather story of the day, and collaborate with the Chief Meteorologist and producers.

Requirements include a BS/BA in Meteorology/Atmospheric Science/Communications/Journalism, 2+ years of experience, radar knowledge, and a valid driver's license; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a broadcast meteorologist preferred.
• Experience producing weather content for digital platforms is a plus.
• Flexible scheduling due to weather events.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive weather coverage for newscasts, streaming, and digital content.
• Forecast and track severe weather with accuracy.
• Create clear, conversational weather presentations for broadcast and online audiences.
• Collaborate with Chief Meteorologist, news managers, and producers.
