Job summary

Beyondsoft Consulting is seeking a Technician 2 to support our firmware supplies team onsite in Vancouver, WA. This full-time role involves manual and automated firmware testing, data collection, and collaboration with engineers to debug and improve equipment.

You will run test scripts, observe printer behavior, and report results with precision. Preferred candidates hold a 2-year STEM diploma or equivalent experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are eligible to work in the US without

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Basic PC navigation and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and automated firmware tests to determine functionality.
• Collaborates with engineers in testing and debugging of equipment.
• Run test scripts according to guidelines; edit scripts as needed.
• Observe printer behavior and report data accurately.
• Maintain logs, records, and test data in spreadsheets/databases.
• Support other labs/projects as needed.
