Job summary

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. seeks a Firmware/Control Systems Engineer, Optical Module to maintain existing and develop new firmware for our optical communications products and to create related test software.

This role requires hands-on embedded C/ARM development, C# test software experience, and collaboration across hardware and software teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in science or engineering required.
• Experience with C# or similar object-oriented language.
• Experience with embedded C firmware development.
• More than 2 years in manufacturing or development environments.
• 5–10 years of experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Develop test software in C# for silicon photonics ICs and optical modules.
• Automate test and measurement equipment using USB, GPIB, and TCP/IP.
• Develop firmware (embedded C/ARM) for optical products.
• Support Linux-based test hardware development and DVT for interfaces.
