$90,000 - 110,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  1. Architect and execute comprehensive test strategies, encompassing both manual and automated approaches, to guarantee the highest quality standards for firmware releases.
  2. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide critical feedback that enhances product testability and overall quality.
  3. Drive test coverage and traceability, ensuring alignment with product specifications and providing clear visibility into the quality landscape.
  4. Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle including integration, system, performance, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  5. Support the development and implementation of in-house test fixtures to optimize testing capabilities.
  6. Proactively monitor long-term field performance, identifying and triaging potential early failure indicators.
  7. Identify, document, and track defects meticulously, advocating for firmware quality.
  8. Replicate reported issues thoroughly to facilitate root cause analysis and effective solutions.
  9. Evaluate and refine testing methodologies to improve product and firmware stability and reliability.
  10. Design and automate regression test suites for ongoing quality assurance of evolving products.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Firmware Development or Firmware Quality Assurance.
  3. Ability to design, execute, and analyze manual tests for devices, web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and data reports.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
