Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) is hiring a Firmware Engineering Manager for the R&D Communications product group to lead embedded Linux/RTOS firmware efforts and guide a team of engineers.
In this role you will manage backlogs, define design docs, write test plans, collaborate with product managers, and drive schedules and labor estimates while advancing SEL values and world-class manufacturing principles.

We anticipate filling this position as an Engineering Manager I $136,000 - $201,000 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
