Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking a Senior Leader in Embedded Software in Framingham, MA. You will guide multiple engineering teams across software, hardware, and product domains to deliver feature-rich, high-quality embedded solutions.

The role requires deep experience in embedded C/C++, Linux, and Android, with a track record of delivering products to mass production. A hybrid work model is in effect with on-site presence required several days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated success delivering embedded products on schedule and within budget.
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with Product, Program Management, Hardware, Quality, UX, Cloud, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of embedded software technical leaders and drive day-to-day activities of cross-functional engineering teams.
• Oversee hiring, mentoring and driving continuous improvement within the team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure features are implemented with high quality.
• Drive end-to-end software releases and scalable software design across teams.
• Develop short and long-term plans, managing resourcing, prioritization, and schedules.
• Develop understanding of SW/HW architecture and ensure engineering/test approaches fit strategy.
• Collaborate with software architects, product management, external teams and cross-functional groups to ship on time.
