Job summary

planqc is building scalable quantum computers and seeks a Firmware Engineer to design MCU-based control and monitoring systems for environmental parameters. You will join the Electrical Engineering team and contribute to automatic testing and documentation from concept to deployment.

You should hold a Physics or Electrical Engineering degree, be proficient in C/C++, Python, and work with 32-bit MCUs (STM32 or similar).

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering required.
• Strong C/C++ skills for microcontroller programming.
• Solid Python background and hardware interfacing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize low-speed control firmware for MCUs and single-board computers.
• Implement digital interfaces with sensors, ADCs, DACs, and peripherals.
• Maintain and improve environmental monitoring infrastructure.
• Develop automatic test and verification processes for electronic components.
