Job summary

King Technology in Minnesota is seeking a versatile Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team. You will bridge hardware and digital ecosystems, developing low-latency firmware for sensors and IoT devices, and enabling seamless cloud communication.

You will contribute to mobile apps and backend data layers, work with C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M/ESP32, integrate sensors, and support data mining with Python for performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers.
• Experience with IoT connectivity and cloud integration.
• Familiarity with sensors and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers.
• Interface sensors via I2C/SPI/UART and driver development.
• Implement Wi-Fi/BLE/LoRa and MQTT/CoAP protocols.
• Collaborate on cloud integration (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Assist development of mobile/web interfaces.
• Write Python/SQL scripts to analyze telemetry data.
