Job summary

Digital Monitoring Products is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who will develop and maintain software in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in embedded software engineering, particularly in C programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of embedded software engineering experience required.
• Solid programming experience in C and familiarity with version control.

Responsibilities

• Designs, writes, maintains software that is modular and maintainable.
• Interprets microprocessor datasheets and configures devices.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers.

Skills

Solid programming experience with C language

2+ years embedded software engineering experience

Utilizes version control, simulation, debugging, and other development tools

Experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet and data networks

Familiar with common communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, USB, UART

Android development experience

Familiarity with Jira

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science
