Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for BIOS/UEFI, AWS Hardware Engineering, Firmware Development in Cupertino, CA. Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AWS‑specific hardware and software from conception through production
• Explore emerging technologies and tailor devices for the AWS environment
• Design and develop server features in BIOS/UEFI, BMC, or FPGA with knowledge of interfaces and handshaking
• Own end‑to‑end product development by contributing to test development, automation, and operation metrics
