Job summary

Broadcom's Data Center Solutions Group seeks a Firmware Engineer to design, implement, and debug low-level firmware for storage controllers, focusing on RAID functionality on ARM processors. You will collaborate across teams to deliver features aligned with customer requirements.

You will work through the full development lifecycle, supporting validation, releases, and integration with hardware. Strong C skills, ARM experience, and AI/LLM workflow knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, ECE, or EE with 2+ years of experience
• Proficient in C; assembly language desirable
• Experience with ARM embedded processors and firmware workflows using AI/LLM tools

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug low-level firmware for storage controllers
• Develop features and maintain firmware for storage products
• Work on PCIe, NVMe and/or SAS/SATA protocols
• Support validation and firmware release activities
• Analyze logs to root cause functional, performance and data issues
• Collaborate with hardware and validation teams for system integration
