Tangram Flex is seeking a Firmware Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team focused on open mission systems integration, interoperability, and verification. You will work on embedded emulation and provide innovative, reliable solutions across the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, and documenting QEMU-based emulation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting customer deployments and live demonstrations. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years of Firmware Engineering or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document high-quality embedded emulation solutions utilizing QEMU.
• Analyze design approaches to improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources for new and existing solutions.
• Build and maintain deep technical expertise with QEMU to support customer deployments and live demonstrations.
• Support end-to-end system testing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting across software setups.
• Partner closely with software, systems, and cross-functional teams to refine system requirements, design choices, and system characteristics.
• Provide technical support to internal and external engineers.

We’re looking for engineers interested in embedded system emulation who pursue deep understanding of technical objectives, while being responsible for providing innovative, reliable solutions to a range of technical challenges. This role demands a strong technical skillset coupled with the ability to establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders throughout the entire program lifecycle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3+ years of Firmware Engineering or equivalent experience.
