Job summary

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. seeks a Firmware / Control Systems Engineer to maintain existing firmware and develop new software for optical communication products. You will work on embedded C for ARM and develop test software in C# used to test silicon photonics ICs and modules.

The role supports manufacturing environments, collaborates with hardware and software teams, and ensures ITAR/compliance and robust performance across interfaces and devices.

Qualifications

• BS in science or engineering is required.
• Experience with C# or similar object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with embedded C firmware development.
• 1) >2 years of experience working in manufacturing and/or development environments.
• 2) 5-10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware (embedded C / ARM) for optical communications products.
• Develop and maintain test software (C#) for silicon photonics ICs and modules.
• Implement control of various ICs via SPI, I2C and other low-level protocols.
• Support DVT of customer-facing interfaces to comply with specifications.
