Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a hands-on systems integrator and failure analysis technical leader to own end-to-end failure analysis for Helios server platform bring-up and associated failures. You will act as firmware-aware SME, coordinating with BIOS, BMC, silicon, validation, design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with server platform bring-up, failure analysis, and cross-domain RCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end failure analysis and root cause ownership for Helios server platform bring‑up and failures.
• Own platform bring‑up debug across BIOS, BMC, CPLD, PMBus, POST, PCIe enumeration, and power sequencing.
• Determine whether failures are firmware, hardware, or cross‑domain issues.
• Develop and execute structured debug plans using logs, telemetry, POST codes, and schematics.
• Automate debug data collection, log parsing, and failure correlation with Python and Linux tools.
• Create clear technical reports and 8D‑style documentation.
