We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Firewood Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver and stack firewood at residential and commercial properties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations: Safely transport firewood to designated residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles.
• Stacking Firewood: Neatly stack firewood at customer properties according to their preferences and company standards.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate courteously with customers, addressing their questions and ensuring satisfaction with delivery and stacking services.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, tire pressure, and cleanliness) and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Inventory Management: Verify load accuracy, track deliveries, and report any discrepancies in firewood quantities.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries and on-site work.
• Route Planning: Follow optimized delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required.
• License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Will need to get DOT medical card if you don't already have one.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 25-50 lbs) and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer experiences.
• Time Management: Ability to manage delivery schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Navigation Skills: Familiarity with GPS systems and local area geography is a plus.
