CTR Group is seeking Firewatch professionals with a Yellow Badge for immediate openings in the Portsmouth, Virginia area. This position offers $20 per hour and weekly pay, with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your safety and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates are attentive, safety-focused, and able to work in challenging shipyard environments. Prior firewatch experience is preferred, with knowledge of OSHA firewatch requirements and shipyard safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior firewatch experience in a shipyard or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme temperatures.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and staying attentive.
• Familiarity with OSHA firewatch requirements and shipyard safety regulations.
• Ability to operate portable fire extinguishers.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Willingness to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and in challenging environments.
• Ability to obtain required shipyard access and security clearances.

What You’ll Need
