Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Wisconsin seeks a dependable construction laborer to support field operations under direct supervision. You will help prepare sites, use hand and power tools, and assist with material handling and equipment decontamination.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 60 pounds, and passing a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Outdoor work and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; driving record within parameters.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Willingness to work outdoors and to travel; 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to report to work on short notice.

Job description

SUMMARY

Perform tasks involving physical labor at project sites. Under direct supervision of Site Manager, performs support to field efforts on general construction labor and maintenance tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools, decontamination of equipment.
• May be asked to operate on road and off road haul and water trucks.
• Handling of hazardous and non hazardous materials.
• May operate forklifts of various size and capability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license with driving record within company established parameters 18 years of age or older, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, ability to pass pre employment physical and drug screen, maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER and applicable 8 hour refresher if required, ability to work in an outdoor environment, 0- 2 years of experience. Willingness to travel and report to work upon short notice.
