Firewall Migration Engineer (Fortinet to Palo Alto) / SME

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Long Term Contract role

Is this an onsite role? Yes, 2-3 days per week

Onsite Location: Irving, TX 75063

Responsibilities:

1. Perform migration of Fortinet firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls/Panorama.
2. Configure, deploy, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls.
3. Convert firewall rules, security policies, and configurations.
4. Set up and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs.
5. Conduct thorough testing to ensure a seamless transition.
6. Minimize downtime and mitigate risks during migration.
7. Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.
