Crawford Thomas Recruiting in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a hands-on installer for a direct-hire role with a building materials distributor. You will assist Lead Installers with residential fireplace installations and handle loading, transport, and setup of materials across the Greater Indianapolis area.

This role requires comfort working at heights, a mechanical mindset, and the ability to lift up to 125 pounds. Overtime is available and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Able to lift up to 125 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential fireplace installations
• Load, unload, inspect, and transport fireplaces, tools, and installation materials
• Report to the Indianapolis shop each morning before traveling to customer job sites throughout the Greater Indianapolis area
• Safely work on ladders, rooftops, and chimneys on a daily basis
• Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards
• Complete required job documentation and installation photos
• Provide professional customer service while working in customers' homes
